The title is named after the Camheds, a cut hunter gang originally meant to appear in Rockstar Games' 2003 survival horror videogame, Manhunt. The game is an in-universe ROM hack of Badlands Revenge II, and its main artwork being a vandalised version of Badlands Revenge II artwork featuring Manhunt characters, and its gameplay is almost copied from the said game, with all characters, scenarios and weapons being replaced by the ones from Manhunt.
The minigame is featured as part of the Los Santos Tuners update, as a light gun shooting gallery.
